     | Lisbon has a glorious past and a
vibrant present, with mosaic sidewalks reminiscent of Rio de Janeiro, sidewalk
cafes, grand 18th century boulevards, beautiful parks resplendent with flowers,
tiny alleyways with quaint shops, hidden squares, and a famous elevator to climb
one of Lisbon's many hills that rise from the waterfront. One interesting stop
is the Carriage Museum, with royal carriages from days gone by. Fascinating
seaports and seaside villages are nearby and can be easily visited. |
